EVENTS

The Lorain/Stonycreek Hiking Trails are looking for companies/small businesses, organizations and individuals willing to donate to help us offset event costs. Throughout the year we are hosting these events to help us continue to make improvement and continue maintenance on the trail system. These events we always like to donate to organizations in our community before we use the remaining amount to put back into our trail system. 

Money raised from these events in 2020-21 went back into the trails to purchase new tools and equipment, complete trail signpost and signage, trail paint, paper maps, GeoTrail booklets and GeoTrail reward coins. In 2022-24, we are looking to raise money towards our DNCR grant application project. We would also like to make improvements to campsite areas off the trails. 

Event cost examples:

• Sound technician
• Musicians Event materials (signs, wristbands, ID check machine, etc.)
• Kitchen inventory (food, ice, drinks, containers, plasticware, etc.)
• Halloween decorations, trunk or treat, haunted trails Kids Zone activities/Prizes/Gift Cards
• Basket Raffle Items
• Security detail 

BENCHES & PICNIC TABLES

Sponsors can choose to purchase a bench or picnic table with your company logo or personalized message. Benches are $200.00 and picnic tables are $350.00. Below is an example metal logo plate from one of our picnic table sponsors and samples of what the plaque and bench/table look like:

TRAIL SIGNS

The Lorain/Stonycreek Hiking Trails have 33 Signposts in our trails with the possibility of adding two more in the spring. We have a 3-tier sponsorship for each one. Gold, Silver and Bronze. You would get a 4x3.5” sign plaque just like our trail signs with your business logo on it and the sponsorship level will be around the outer border.
